I do not like the idea of jailed journalists. Even if it validates what the person is saying it still sets a precedent for turning a blind eye to or even tolerating human rights violations. This is my general opinion as I’m not following the news.
I like that you depicted him as one armed and big chested. I think the grin on his face is cynical. There is so much in the story and I can tell from the sketch. As usual brilliant use of imagery.
It’s a pattern of Harper’s behaviour. He doesn’t seem to mind putting a muzzle on the press, the scientist and anyone who might reveal the truth.
