I’m a fan. And I just enjoy how those lines curve and sort of make a spherical viewpoint. What brand of pencils do you use? I am a charcoal stick/Staedler person to the end. I just want to know if you have a preference. My workshop participants have copied this OCD situation and I sort of feel guilty about that…
I don’t have any preferences but for this sketch, I used a high quality B pencil(Korean brand), along with a HB .5 mechanical. I later went over some of the parts with pen and ink for exaggeration. In the meantime, I’ll use any brand, cheap or fine, but I’ll probably have a preference before I know it. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it!

Thanks for sharing your sketching technique. I sometimes sketch with a fountain pen, but I’ve never mixed the two. I’ll try that next time.
