Most of our perception is that bananas are a good source of potassium. They’re good after workouts and body-builders eat them. However, other food sources such as kale, avocado, and spinach have more potassium than bananas. Probably my ignorance kicked in and I became lazy. But if you’re not a nutritionist, you might have thought the same thing.
Sometimes it isn’t our fault. Most of the propaganda/advertisements are already on bananas. When was the last time you saw an advertisement on kale or lima beans? Probably once or never. On the other side, ads on bananas pop up more frequently. Making us believe that bananas are rich in potassium.
It’s fair to say that bananas aren’t the best source of potassium but they’re definitely the sweetest source of potassium.
Apricots are a great source of potassium as well. (•◡•)
